Description :

Strategic approach of building up a corporate client base for DGL Madagascar
• Setting Business objectives for country/location to align with Corporate objectives
• Maintaining business relationship with the existing customers to explore possibilities of scaling up the business, monitoring & controlling cost of operations.
• Analyze the organizational business requirements and devise an execution plan for the operations in sync with Head Quarters.
• Analyze issues and deviations and continue to review and take proactive action,
• Review and procure best pricing for both Sea & Air Services as well other local services
• Act as a key driver of the company and set processes and procedures that provide requires direction, guidance and support to entire operation function.
• Responsible for achieving sales targets and overall P&L
• Ensure hassle free smooth operations both air & sea freight forwarding
• Plan for the movement of the shipment/cargo and ensure the execution is carried out as per the plan.
• Interaction with the customs and different certifying agencies for getting clearance for different consignments.
• Monitor and control cost of operations to maintain a certain margin of profits
• Retention of team members of the SBU by providing a conducive working environment for all to perform their tasks.
• Responsible for implementing SOPs (Standard Operating procedures) for all operational areas for trouble free operation.
• Selection & Recruitment of good talents in the Industry whilst retaining the existing talents in the company.
• Building up a good professional network with industry people.
• Responsible for handling day to day operations at the Branch, from understanding the requirements of the customers, providing the best possible price in the market, ensure hassle free and timely execution of shipments.

Knowledge of Air and Sea freight cargo handling minimum of 6-8 years.
Outstanding administration and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal & Public relation skills
Meeting strict deadlines in assigned area of work
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
